Day 1 : Pristina Airport > Reka e Allages
Meet our local agent at Pristina airport. Departure to the city center for lunch. Then start the guided tour of Pristina, Capital of Europe's youngest country. Transfer by 4x4 or minibus to western Kosovo to reach Reka e Allages, a small mountain village where you will begin your hiking circuit. Prepare your bag for the four days of hiking ahead and leave your suitcase.
Depending on arrival times, you will have the opportunity to visit the UNESCO-listed Peja Monastery and the White Drin Waterfall.

Day 2 : Reka e Allagёs > Pepaj > Drelaj > Dugaivё > Kuqishtё
Breakfast at your guesthouse then 2 options.
This stage of the 'Peaks of the Balkans' is one of the longest of the circuit, covering 23 kilometers. Possibility of a private transfer from your guesthouse to Drelaj to cut 12 kilometers of walking to Kuqishtë. Arrival in Kuqishtë in the afternoon and relax in your guesthouse with a superb view of the valley.

Day 3 : Kuqisthë, Kosovo > Babino Polie, Montenegro
Second awakening in Kosovo, a mountainous and compartmentalized country, typical of the Balkans. We take time to have lunch and enjoy the calm of this wild nature before putting on our hiking shoes. We head towards Montenegro. For this, we dive into the heart of mountains polished by numerous water sources and coniferous forests. We enjoy breaks by the glacial lakes Liqeni i Kuqishtës and Liqeni i Drelajve.
We cross the invisible border separating Kosovo and Montenegro in the middle of the afternoon and leave our belongings in a guesthouse located in the small village of Babino. The end of the day is free, an opportunity to enjoy a moment of calm, rest or visit the surroundings of the village. Dinner and overnight in shared guesthouse room.

Day 4 : Babino Polie > Plav > Vusanje, Montenegro
After breakfast, we start our hike towards the village of Plav, located by a lake. Today we only take a small day backpack. We walk through the woods to reach Lake Hrid. A wild lake located in Prokletije National Park. It's by this lake that we leave our belongings to have a picnic. We eat to the rhythm of the croaking of our frog and toad neighbors. The bravest can try to swim there, others can walk around it. In the early afternoon, we leave again, backpack on shoulders, to reach Lake Plav, perched at 900 meters altitude.
Our hike is finished for today, we board a shuttle that will take us to Vusanje, a valley located in the heart of the mountains. We leave our belongings in a charming chalet and enjoy the landscape before dinner. If the weather permits, before going to bed, let's take advantage of the darkness of the night to admire the stars.

Day 5 : Vusanje, Montenegro > Theth, Albania
Today, we start the day with a short transfer by car to Lake Jerzerce. The car winds through mountain roads, landscapes, and borders. On the Montenegrin side, we admire the Grlja waterfall, then on the Albanian side the glacial lake of Jezerce, and finally at the natural source of the Blue Eye 'Syri i Kaltër', where we stop. There we admire the 9-meter deep underground cave. After this road epic, it's time to set off again on foot to discover the surrounding landscapes. Our hike then begins at the foot of the Pass before reaching its summit at 1,742 meters altitude.
In the late afternoon, we descend to the village of Theth, an intact and uninhabited village in the heart of the valley. We will settle for two nights in our guesthouse where we can rest. Tonight, we enjoy a meal mainly composed of local products (cheeses, meats, vegetables). We sleep on site.

Day 6 : Hike to Blue Eye, Albania
Wake up and breakfast in the heart of the valley. We only take the essentials and leave our belongings at the guesthouse. The day begins with a walk to the south of Albania until the unmissable 'Blue Eye', a natural water source. We take the opportunity to put down our backpacks and put on our swimsuits to swim in this clear and limpid water. Let's enjoy this timeless free time to rest and fully appreciate the calm of this territory. At the end of the day, we get dressed to head to our guesthouse. Dinner and overnight in Theth.

Day 7 : Theth > Valbona, Albania > Prizren > Pristina, Kosovo
The day begins with breakfast, then we put on our hiking shoes and backpacks with only the essentials for the day towards Valbona. Our day will be punctuated by crossing the wild landscapes of the Albanian mountains and passing through small villages. An opportunity to stop for a moment in small cafes, to rest our feet and admire the active village. In the middle of the day, we reach the Valbona Pass, which is the highest peak of this route. From the summit, we admire the incredible landscape of both sides of the mountain. Then we slowly descend to the village of Valbona. Here, we enjoy a cold drink to mark the end of the circuit before heading back to Prizren. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, Prizren is the cultural and historical capital of Kosovo.
We set off to discover the city of Prizren, a city marked by Ottoman architecture. We walk along the Lumbardhi River and discover the Monastery of the Holy Archangels, the 17th-century Turkish hammam, and the Kaljaja fortress that surrounds the modern city. Its cobbled streets and tea rooms in the old bazaar give Prizren a unique Ottoman charm. We visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque as well as the Albanian League of Prizren, the first league for the defense of Albanian rights established in the late 19th century. We meet for lunch in the center. Head to Pristina.
